How Are You Serving God?

I really think that Rick Warren is correct in that we all have a unique SHAPE that helps us to serve Him. How are you serving God? Have you stopped to think about if you are serving God out of your unique SHAPE? Have you discovered your passion? your ability? Are you serving God in your joy spot? So tell us, what do you see your shape and how are you serving God using that?

  1. I see my shape as being multi-sided. I think I have several abilities to help serve God well, but none of these can be referred to as "extreme" abilities. Kind of like sports; you can play several of them competitively, but there is not just one that you play on a "professional" level. Now this can be beneficial in several ways. You can tackle just about anything with nominal success. You are a man of "many hands and hobbies". It can be negative in that it can distract you as well. You will not take the time needed to complete one task. This can leave you a bit unorganized at times. This is what happens to me. My priorties are sometimes in jeopardy due to doing too many things at the same time. If you pray to the Lord Jesus for direction, He will help you excel in ways to help serve Him and to bring you passion and dedication while doing it. This is what I am praying for right now, and encourage others to pray with me. Jim
